This one is a true curio in every respect. It could have been a good adventure had it been polished and several features been improved. The first one is the awful amount of lengthy dialogs; you spent your time reading lines and lines in small letters down the bottom of the screen. You can't avoid them as you need to interact with the different characters in order to obtain information and items. Although they are all questions and replies full of humor, they often border on the absurd. Not only does their length become very tedious after a few minutes but the english translation is at times quite weird, not to say appalling. Example: an onion is called "onion dome" Then nothing is really clear; you hang around with the characters and walk in circles around 5 or 6 locations without really getting anywhere. I played the demo for 28 mns and only got one item from a character, which I was supposed to use on a cat [and that didn't work] which was supposed to be chasing a mouse except that he wasn't chasing anything, merely sitting on the roof of the tavern licking his paws. And this is only one example. Referring to the walthrough for a clue, I was flabbergasted not only by the way it has been translated but also by the little help it offers. I have played many adventures but I have never seen anything so confusing. The game is an animated cartoon; several parts of it are quite funny and made me laugh but I will not go into details because that would spoil your fun if you decide to play the game. It is clear this adventure has a true potential and is full of ideas; it is also clear, unfortunately, that this potential has not been properly exploited. If the developers had replaced the scripts by spoken dialogs with local accents -and in good English, if they had made the gameplay more intuitive and implemented triggers that do work, the whole game would have gained in quality and fun. Nonetheless, the demo is worth downloading just to have a good laugh for half an ho
