To be honest, I consider this to be a poor version of Build a Lot. I hate the diamond shape the town is displayed in. There seems to be a lot of wasted space on screen. Poor user interface design. Maybe it gets better. I only played for like a half hour and lost interest.
I enjoyed the 1-hour trial game, and I'm buying it. I barely got into the game with the trial period, and it left me interested in figuring out how to build more. I loved Build-a-Lot: Fairy Tales, but otherwise am not into the couple of BaL games I played. Definitely try the trial game and see if it's your type of game.
This game is OK. The problem I had with it was when it tells you to build a school, for instance. It's confusing because there may be a school right next door. I played it a couple of times, but maybe we need a "used game store" LOL.
